My name is Florent and I'm an outdoor enthusiast!

Creating, shaping, sewing... these are all essential needs in my life. A few years ago, I started by creating ultra-light gear for my bivouacs and hikes.

One thing led to another and I started making them for my friends, and I haven't stopped since!

I love designing ultra-light, durable and original materials.

Some of the raw materials used come from Europe. I make a point of researching and using eco-designed materials.

Everything is made in France by my own little hands.

All the items I design are tested and pushed to their limits to guarantee the best possible quality of use.

The raw materials used will always be synthetic and never of animal origin.

Making UL hiking equipment is all very well, but doing it in a way that respects its principles is even better.

French Light Outdoor is committed to transparency in raw materials, seeking out the best and most eco-responsible products possible. I buy as many fabrics, cords, zippers, etc. as possible directly from the manufacturers, to avoid resellers and therefore parasitic shipping. 

The workshop is lit with low-energy LED panels, and I'm constantly looking for ways to make better use of energy and fabric scraps. You will never find a single French Light Outdoor product of animal origin or tested on animals.

Your shipments are packaged in recycled and recyclable cartons. Small products are packaged in compostable packaging created by NOISSUE.
