The Coolmax® Shorts feature a technology known for its breathability and ability to effectively wick away moisture. Lightweight, comfortable, and quick-drying, they are ideal for hiking, fast hiking, trail running, and all outdoor activities in warm weather.

Ultra-lightweight, breathable, and cool Coolmax™ polyester fabric. Designed to be durable, this fabric offers an excellent weight-to-strength ratio.

The fabric's technology allows for rapid moisture wicking, keeping the fabric cool for optimal cooling.

The shorts are designed with thicker fabric on the front and back for added durability, and much more breathable panels in areas where ventilation is important.

There are two fastening systems: a wide elastic band for optimal comfort and lace-style cords for a custom fit. 

On the front of each side, there are two large zippered pockets that are not sewn to the body of the shorts, which eliminates any possible discomfort even when the pockets are full.

On the back of each side, there are two easy-access vertical pockets—perfect for storing your phone or other items. You can also tuck the shorts into one of these two pockets.

Manufactured in Asia, directly from the fabric mill, then inspected and finished in France.

I’ve been putting these shorts through their paces for two summers now—in brambles, against rocks, even as swim trunks… They’ve always held up great, and they quickly became my favorite pair, which is why I decided to feature them here.

Extra tip: Soak your shorts—the cooling effect will kick in and last a long time, and the shorts won't feel wet or heavy.

These shorts are a reimagining of a Japanese design from the 1970s, improved and perfected for cool, comfortable hikes and perfect camping trips.
