"Tencel, also known as lyocell, is an eco-friendly material produced from wood pulp and a non-toxic solvent. Tencel is highly prized in the textile industry, as it is a breathable and resistant fabric, very comparable to silk. It is sometimes referred to as vegetable silk. 

• Tencel is a 100% cellulosic man-made ecological fiber (created from wood pulp).
• Tencel requires very little water during manufacture, unlike the intensive irrigation system needed to grow cotton (5,000 liters of water to produce 1kg of cotton, less than 1,000 liters for tencel).
• Tencel produces 10 times more material than cotton, per hectare cultivated
• The non-toxic solvent used to transform tencel fiber into fabric is 99.7% recovered.

   

  How is Tencel made?

  At first, there are trees: eucalyptus, hardwoods or bamboo... The cellulose (a sugar naturally present in wood) is extracted and dissolved in a non-toxic solvent.

  This solvent is non-toxic and 99.77% recoverable. Lyocell therefore has a low environmental impact, as it is produced in a virtually closed-loop circuit where materials are constantly recycled, purified and reused.

  Generally speaking, the wood pulp used to produce lyocell comes from trees planted specifically for its production. Pine, eucalyptus and bamboo forests are certified sustainable and have a low environmental impact. The trees used have low water consumption: eucalyptus, for example, needs only as much rainwater to grow, with no pesticides or intensive irrigation systems like cotton. 

  This ecological man-made fiber is a more environmentally friendly substitute for viscose in the textile industry.

The fabrics are very quiet.

Built with a double YKK zipper running the full length of the DREAMY bag, it's easy to use for packing and turning the bag inside out.

The bag's seams are not waterproofed, but the fabrics are water-resistant.

The bag easily accommodates all your night-time gear (alpha hoodie, socks, boxer shorts, bra, choker, hat, etc.). When transformed into a pillow, you can put your down jacket, day gear or other items inside.

An elastic cord with a tanka allows you to secure the DREAMY to your mattress to put an end to slippery pillows.

The black model has a purple elastic band.
