The Octa® Pants are made in France from Octa® technical fabric, known for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and breathability. Lightweight, comfortable, and compact, they are ideal for hiking, trekking, fast hiking, and bivouacking.

Octa® 80

The Octa® 80 is a hollow-fiber insulating fabric that offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. Its unique structure effectively retains heat while remaining highly breathable. Its soft inner layer provides immediate comfort, while its mesh outer layer enhances durability and speed of drying. It is ideal for activities in cool weather as well as for bivouacking.

Octa® 67

The Octa® 67 is the lightest version of Octa® technology. More breathable and dynamic, it prioritizes temperature regulation during exercise. Combined with a windproof layer, it offers excellent protection on cool mornings, in the evenings, or during active pursuits.

With a weight of approximately 60 g/m², the Alpha® Direct 60 prioritizes breathability and temperature regulation. It is particularly well-suited for hiking, trekking, and trail running apparel, where the intensity of exertion varies and it is essential to quickly wick away heat and moisture. It offers an excellent balance of comfort, lightness, and performance, both on the move and while camping.

The leggings are unisex and run slightly large for greater range of motion.

The weight may vary by +/- 10% depending on how the OCTA® is manufactured.

The Octa pants are designed to provide lightweight insulation while maintaining excellent breathability. Their construction promotes moisture wicking to ensure comfort both during physical activity and while camping.

Two insulation options are available:

– Octa® 67: Designed for breathability and dynamic activities.
– Octa® 80: Provides extra warmth for cooler temperatures.

As an option, the pants can be equipped with a full-length YKK® #3 zipper on each side. This full-length opening makes it easy to put the pants on or take them off without having to remove your shoes, while also providing better ventilation when conditions call for it.
